Why Windows Is Better Than Mac os

Hello Guy's I Am Nikhil Verma From ascertified143.blogspot.com today i am showing you how windows is better than mac os.so let's start

Windows Gives You More Hardware Choices

This is perhaps Microsoft’s greatest strength. PCs give you a lot more choice and capabilities for your money. You can get the PC you want, in the size and color you want, with the features you want. You just don’t have as many options with a Mac.

Mac was made to run on a limited set of hardware, much of it designed by just Apple. They kind of go by the Henry Ford saying of “You can have any color you want, as long as it’s black”. Or, in Apple’s case, white.

Windows can run on just about anything and everything. You can put a completely random set of hardware components together, and chances are Windows will load on it. It’s very modular, allowing you to upgrade any component relatively easily. Want a better video card? You have a choice of just about any other one on the market. Same goes for the CPU, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, etc. Mac allows for some of this, though drivers are limited to the manufacturers and specific products approved for use in Apple systems.

Windows Provides More Available Software and Games

Windows has a much more open environment for developers. Because of this, the desktop can be heavily modified to the user’s liking. If you have Windows running on it, a clever software engineer has found some way to make it run faster, look better, or both!

Software developers build software on a budget that requires them to target the biggest customer pool with as little effort as possible. Development of software has largely been done in a Windows environment as that’s where most of the potential customers are. They ultimate, therefore, decide to go with Windows in many cases, especially in regards to business software where there is an overwhelming adoption of Windows in corporate environments.

And games are pretty obvious. Just check out Steam’s game library comparing Windows and Mac. Unless you’re interested in playing games from 5 years ago, Windows is where you want to be for the latest and greatest.

Windows Has More Technical Assistance

Despite what commercials and movie endorsements may suggest, with over 90% of the global desktop market, virtually everyone owns a Windows desktop or laptop PC. Windows is king.

Microsoft (with the exception of the Surface tablet) doesn’t make computers. They leave that to their manufacturing partners; the Dells, HPs, Toshibas, and Acers of the world. And every one of these companies provides service/support for Windows on their products.

And what about support outside of Microsoft’s partners? The difference in the number of places you can take your Windows PC in for service compared to the number of Apple stores is glaringly obvious. You need your Windows PC looked at? No problem. Even a small town like Westlock has seen many PC service and/or sales stores… the least of which not being BRETT-TEK! You need your Apple computer looked at? Have fun driving around in the city!

Windows is Easier to Learn

The computer that’s easiest to use is typically the one you already know how to use. Windows hasn’t changed much in the past 20 years. Though each new version has introduced new features, the learning curve between these versions is fairly small, and most users pickup the nuances fairly quickly.

Some may say Macs are easy, but the reality is they come with their own learning curve, too.

Some of this boils down to personal preference; of which user interface you prefer working with. That may be, but the familiarly of Windows – ingrained in multiple generations of computer users – is hard to beat.

The latest change in Windows 8, with its Live Tiles, has taken some off guard. It’s bringing the same look across all of Microsoft’s platforms: PC, tablet, phone, and Xbox. This is just another change that in time will be quickly accepted, and only make the interface more familiar not just with PCs, but all other Microsoft devices.

CONCLUSION

I’ll admit I’ve hardly ever used a Mac in my life. On average, as far as working with them, I’ve serviced maybe one Apple computer every other year. So, I’m a pretty easy target for the argument “Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it”. Fair enough, though I will counter that I don’t need to be bitten by a snake to know it’ll hurt.

Whenever I listen to someone explain to me why their Mac is best, I don’t try disproving them. There’s about as much point in that as there is them trying to dissuade me from Windows. I listen and learn, and be as courteous an ambassador of the Windows OS as I can.

Because, at the end of the day, it’s not about trying to prove you’re right; there’s enough of that on the Internet. It’s about showing through action why and how you believe the way that you do.
